Transaction Log Shipping Report not working

    HI ,

    We have log shipping implemented on a number of servers. When we try to view the transaction log shipping report on some of the servers we get the error: -

    Error: User must be in the master database.

    Not sure why this is occuring as the same system accounts are on all SQL servers with the same privileges.

    The report works on some source servers, on the destination server and the monitoring server. I am trying to put any new log shipping tasks to monitor on a new server so that we can look to remove the current monitoring server and this is the error we are getting this error on the new monitoring server and 2 of our current source servers.

    Log shipping is working because we have checked the backup and restore reports on all servers.

    Any help with this is appreciated.

    Hi! I am not sure what exactly the problem is, but try to check default database for the user who executes the reports and compare it accross the servers.

    Thanks. That was the issue.

    Can't believe a report is using the default database of the user.
