Transaction log

    Team,

    My Transaction log have failed with error mess as follows

    SQL Backup failed with exit code: 1010 SQL error code: 4214 [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 50000). The step failed.

    Check the SQL Logs and event logs for more info...

    Try to do manual backup - Trans Log , and check if that works successfully.

    Post the sql logs here..

    Ok.

    So the JOB step failed right ?

    if so check the JOBsteps perfectly or recreate again..

    If this is from a maintenance plan, you need to check the maintenance plan log for the reason. If it's a script of some sort, are you manually testing that same script?
