Anyone have any idea whats trace flag 902 does?

It's an emergency traceflag for restarting the server when you've got a failed install going on. It's not something used regularly.

I used to to start a instance which was failed due to CU install. Is there anything bad if i didn't remove it from start up parameter?

Not to my knowledge. But then, I haven't had to use it.
