Tools in Workgroup Editions

    My system admin told me the workgroup edition in my site won't allow me to use SQL Profiler, Database Tunning Adviser and performance monitor because Workgroup edition doesn't have those tools. I did some research on MS site, it seems he is half right. The real issue is how do i track problems without using those tools? Anyone using Performance monitor in the workgroup edition?

    If this is a production server then you are limited. If you have a development/test server then you could use the Developer Edition, which has everything you need and more, and since it is not production there is no need for licensing !
