Hello, I need a tool for management ms sql: compare list of databases on 2 servers (not structure and/or data of 2 databases), copy from one server to second new databases, delete from the second server ... Not to propose Copy Wizard.
Thanks

None I know of. How many databases are you talking about? Seems like even at 100 it would be easy by hand.
The other issue is what if you have two of the same name, but not the same schema or data? Might not want to overwrite one, or might want to save the changes.

Thanks for answer. I have more than 1 server with 1500-2000 databases on each server. Customer wants to build "cluster" and have a "backup" server ready for use. Because of quantity, i dont think that restore could solve my problem and its more easy to compare 2 servers and copy/add/delete databases to the "backup" server. Its not important what is a database structure or schema of data. So, I'll need to build small application...
