Tool For Security Review

    Greetings,

    Does anyone know of a tool that will allow reporting of all users / logins and tie them back to NT account information from Active Directory if applicable? As part of this I would like it if the tool actually gave the NT accounts associated with any NT Global Groups that are logins.

    Any information that anyone has on a product that does this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    There are quite a few products out there that do parts of what you're looking for, but I'm not aware of anything that does the whole kit and kaboodle off the top of my head. I'm sure there's one out there, though...

    With that said, what you're looking to do should be fairly easy using a few scripts and ADSI.

    Thanks Brian! I was going down that road and have had good success querying Active Directory from SQL Server in the past but was hoping that I could find something off the shelf to make my life easier for this project.

    If I get the time to work through this in the near future I will post my full solution.
