Hi All,
Can anybody suggest me any tool which can be used to automate the code review for SQL 2000 apart from MICROSOFT's SQL BPA
Thanks in advance

Heh... I can tell you which one is the only one that works 100% of the time...

Its because, we follow our own coding standards and we want that to be customized in a tool. The BPA covers most of the aspects but we would want to implement few other checks also. I dont think the BPA tools allows user customization/add new rules.

Jeff -
Today, one of my colleagues mentioned to me that this very metric was repackaged and turned into a Code review package.... I thought you might enjoy it....:)
Sadly - it's apparently only in production for Java so far...

Heh... as always, thank you for your contribution to the pile of email I get. As you can tell, the SQL/wtf metric is still pretty much in the design phases. We actually found 34 sub meanings to the metric nearly as universally accepted as the ultimate word, "Dude". We also found the we can blend the Java Metric, the SQL Metric, along with the word "Dude" and came up with approximately 343 totally unique meanings. The paper work on the Java Metric does appear to be a bit of a stinker, though we may have a digital break through any minute.
I'm actually flushed with excitment because it may lend new meaning to the words, "It Depends".

Try this link http://www.DIABSQLSoftware.com also at http://download.cnet.com/DIAB/3000-2065_4-75363232.html take a look at DIAB. Version 3.5 includes such a tool. Looks pretty promising.
