A good lager like Schneider Aventinus (a wheat bock from Schneider) is fine, but typical US lagers really are U/S and typical British lagers (and most French and Scandinavian ones too) are just as bad. Ales that badtend not to survive, but Darwin's law doesn't appear to apply to lagers.
