So long as the upper 10% (income wise) do not get all of the same loopholes that continue to prevent them from paying taxes.

Flat tax, I like that one.So long as the upper 10% (income wise) do not get all of the same loopholes that continue to prevent them from paying taxes.
For it to really work, it would have to tax everything at an equal rate. This goes for businesses, people, everyone. Earn money? Uncle Sam takes x percentage. No discrimination. Don't want to pay taxes? Don't earn anything.
Once you start getting into exemptions... then everything gets FUBARed. So no exceptions and once the tax is paid on the money, no more tax on that money.
