It's Here! Getting a great snow at this time. Already got about 1 inch and 2-4 expected here with 5-10 inches expected at higher elevations.
This is why I moved to Colorado :w00t:

Chilly is the word today. The snow isn't too bad, maybe an inch coming down, albeit sideways now. It was 72F yesterday around 2 when I was playing out front my wife daughter. We were on the grass, she making some sliding dives to hit the shuttlecock while learning badminton.
Today it's 23F now

Australia?
The sappy movie?
No - I think NE Oz is supposed to be hit by a tropical cyclone/storm thing tomorrow. Just a guess at location.
Location is half way around the world 🙂

Lucky!
We still had to work - Guess D11 is scared of a few (million) snow flakes.

Explaination I got from my Executive Director was that they were concerned about getting the kids home after school based on the forecast. I don't mind the free paid day off.

Don't you have to make it up later anyway?
The kids at least do, don't they?

First, the districts here actually schedule additional days into the school calendar for days like this so the kids don't have to make-up the day. Now, a few years ago we had so many snow days that the districts did have to add days or extra time to the school day to make-up for the lost time.
As for me, nope. First, I'm salaried, and second I am also a year-round employee; I don't get summers off.

All the better for a snow-day.
