Marguerita (too bad it's too early).I used to work for a company that had a frozen marguerita machine in the kitchen.
Every afternoon, we would fire it up so it would be ready by 5. Ahhhhh, the good old days before
someone realized there was a liability issue.

It's 5 o'clock some where!

Why would anyone freeze a marguerita machine? :w00t:

Resemblance is astounding.
As for the shirt, I am sure we can find somebody to fix that. Plenty of paintshop wizards lurking about.

yeah, he's holding out on us now. He retreated to the tent knowing he was at 9999.
I wanted the 10,000th post to be one where I at least tried to help someone solve a problem. Turned out I ended up rewriting my own routine to use ALTER USER instead of sp_change_user_login (thanks Paul).

LOL. You should have edited your previous post instead and saved the 10,000 for something!

I think my 10,000 post was okay. It wasn't a "water-cooler" post, and and it encouraged a rewrite of a routine that will be in production for (hopefully) a long time.
The only problem was the time it took to rewrite dynamic sql to write dynamic sql. Getting all the single quotes (') right is a RPITB, but once done, it's done.

I must confess I usually use a CURSOR for that type of thing. Performance is never an issue; my time is

As often as I write cursors, it probably would have taken just as long.
You also could say performance here is an issue as this routine resync's SQL Server logins when we have a mirror failover. We may not have a lot of logins to resync, but you never know if that may change in the future.

I see. I write a fair number of cursors, usually for drip-feeding semi-bulk data changes into busy production systems, so it would take about a minute, I reckon.
