    "El" Jerry.

    Evil (root thereof)

That wasn't money, but the love of it.

It's "Oir is e gaol an airgid freumh gach uilc; ..." in my Bible. If I recall correctly Jerome's (vulgate) translation was "cupiditas" which (in Church Latin as opposed to Classical) means "greediness", not "money", and the Greek version (the oldest version we have) used f??a?????a (avarice, not money); both the King James version and the New English Bible have "love of money", and the latest (2009) edition of Biblia de Jerusalem has "afán de dinero" (an ardent passionate desire for money). Only a few illiterate twits mistranslated (or misquoted) it as "money" until the middle of the 20th century, when for some reason that mistranslation became common (perhaps because illiterate twittiness became either much more common or much more ostentatious than it had previously been).

Actually I was referring to either money bills ($1, $5, etc) or the money you spend on paying your bills. 😀
