Hmmm, should I spend $60 to take me and my dog to the Dodgers game on Bark in the Park day? I get all you can eat Dodger dogs.

RAWRF!
Okay, fine. Here's a real word: Bark.
It just occurred to me, how many of those dogs will sit still with the ball going this way and that?
What about that big stick the batters are holding? How many dogs don't chase that thing when it gets tossed to the side?
The seats are in right field, far away from the stick and most balls; in the 'all you can eat' section. Will have to fend the dogs off my Dodger Dogs.
You could throw a dodger dog out to one of the fielders and see the dogs chase.
I would relish a dodger dog. 😀
What is the maximum nested quotes in this forum? I miss Dodger stadium!! One of the great ballparks, as in, I could afford to take the whole family (with 9 kids, that is saying alot!).

Last I checked, isn't left field in the ballpark?
I believe the euphemism came from the days before the ballpark was an all-encompassing stadium set up. Bleachers would be placed on either side of the field between home & 1st and home & 3rd, leaving left field and right field way out in the boonies and not part of the ballpark proper.

Yeah, here too. It's dry for now, but we're expecting more later today.
I'm at least hoping it'll be good for my lawn -- I re-seeded some brown and bare spots last Saturday.

It'll be good for my lawn until the flood gets here. We have been under flood warning for a couple of weeks now.
