If a broken mirror is 7 years bad luck. What is it when your data mirror breaks every day?A cleaner who comes in at 8am every day to hoover the carpets before the office day starts and unplugs a RAID controller's power so she can plug her vacuum cleaner in.
We had an after-hours janitorial service (at a previous employer) that unplugged a server to plug in the vacuum cleaner. We finally figured out what happened about a week after the continuous morning havoc. From then on, we had signs posted and made the service agree they were not allowed to unplug a single thing. We did, however, do a little re-arranging to free up plugs every X feet so they could still do their work.
EDIT: Finally, just as I was moving to a different company, they built a server room so the server wasn't sitting out in the open. :hehe:

Welcome back Ray.
Thanks, although I didn't really go anywhere (except to Yankee Stadium on Friday night). It was really a staycation. Mostly I just putzed around the house!
