Pro-bowl should be in the middle of the season.
Good idea, midway in the season, and everyone has the same bye week.

I was thinking that it could be done after week 10. I wouldn't mind everybody still having an additional bye-week prior to week 10. It would be like giving the teams two bye-weeks (even if selected to the pro-bowl it is still a bye-week - they don't really play hard during the game).

There would be less of an excuse to rest players for the playoffs. :w00t::w00t:

First, I don't like the bye week. make the players play every week. Heck, look how much they get paid, and this is entertainment for the masses.

Second, they will always find a reason to rest players for the play-offs. If I have secured a play-off berth, and more importantly home field advantage, prior to the end of the season do I really need to play my best players constantly for the last few weeks of the season? Here is an opportunity to give other players more playing time prior to the play-offs.

Good points. It is only 16 games and 1 game a week. I am thinking more from the perspective of having the season last just a little bit longer.
