I don't sing, although considering the trouble I've been having trying to find someone to help with demos (I'm a songwriter, too!), I might have to start.

I wish I had some recording equipment. I'd say send the music and I'll lay down the vocal tracks.

Trouble is, a lot of what I write is geared toward a male singer. Although, I might have some stuff that's gender-neutral. I'll have to take a look.

I have some links to my demos on my web site[/url], if you want to check them out!

I knew that dbcc timewarp would be the secret to our success!

Yes, but let's keep it a secret, lest we anger the TSF (Temporal Security Forces) and disappear forever, or is it never?

You can't disappear if you've never existed. But then, you can't have been having this discussion either. And since this thread is woven throughout the fabric of SQLServerCentral.com, your non-existence would unravel the forums, and then work its way through unraveling the existence of all who have learned in its hallowed threads. And that just starts the chain of unraveling existences back to the dawn of creation.

Which means the TSF can't touch you, for fear of destroying the universe.

Phew! What a relief. I can finally leave my house for the first time in ....... wait, what century is it?

I never realized it before, but you are right, SSC is an essential thread in the fabric of the universe. Pull on it in the wrong spot and the whole thing could unravel.

Fortunately I always have my towel with me, and a guaranteed reservation at the restaurant at the end of the universe.

But for now, I am going to go outside and see if the sun still looks the same as it did the last time I was outside.

Left the mugginess (as the weatherman put it - whipping 10% humidity) for same temps and 40% humidity with off and on showers. Thinbloods:-P

Bah. You want mugginess, check out Houston, TX in the summer. UGH. Tampa is nice compared to that!

    -- Kit

  • Not just mugginess - if the temp drops to 70 then it is frigid.

Come on, Kit. You can't compare a coastal city (Tampa) to an inland city (Houston). Inland Florida is far worse than coastal Florida. And I'm sure Houston is far worse that Galveston.

Perspective, my dear Watson. It's all about perspective. @=)

See Brandie's last response about perspective. 70, frigid?

Lollypop! (do they still give them out to stop the pain and crying?

    Joe

  • No more lollipops that I'm aware of. She's 9 so I don't expect much crying, more complaining. And since she's scoped out every Dairy Queen in Colorado (maybe the US), I expect some lobbying for a cool, creamy treat.
