has anybody tried TOAD for SQL Server from Quest? It is freeware and just recently released

any feedback on this product? how does it hold up to commercial alternatives?

Hi Brian
Well its a start, very limited generally, but certainly a solid TOAD framework for expansion; I think we need a few version before I would skip over from even my standard EM and query analyser.

thx for reply. It will be interesting to see what Quest is up to - but this version is just released a short time ago so we'll see

Hi,
with Toad for Sqlserver, did you have any problems in getting it to connect. I tried both OLE and OLE for ODBC and both come back saying Server not found even tho it is registered on my local machine. Any ideas??
