timeout in vs for ssas tabular deploy is 0 but i still timeout deploying

  hi we run 2019 std but i'm testing this on 2016.   following some old notes and starting from the debug tab in vs, i picked options, went to bi developer and set the properties you see below.  but i still get a timeout on each line of the process when deploying as shown in the 2nd image.    I dont see anywhere but on the server  itself a setting called olap \ process \databaseconnectionpoolconnecttimeout but trying to set its value to 0 ran forever and i finally disconnected.   does the community know the proper way to avoid this error?  i'm going to change the version to 13 on the bi dev properties and try again.    Also, since the metadata seems to deploy anyway, i may try to process ity right in ssms.
