    If i want to use a DTS for transport a DB of SQL 6.5 to SQL 7.0; can i transport a data type Timestamp??

    I see that the data that are timestamp in 6.5 are converteted in type Data in SQL7 after the transfer

    In the DTS it builds a default type but on the destination tab you should be able to change to what you want. Note however, I think there is documentation somewhere that states the timestamp datatype in 6.5 is not compatible directly with the one in 7. Check BOL or MS KB Site.
