Okay girls and boys I need to pull a rabbit out of the hat! We have been asked to help a team using .... 6.5 with a serious problem. Yes I said 6.5. It seems that the are using an old product that can only run against 6.5.
Here is the problem. The database, according to the application keeps getting corrupt. However when reviewing the very large database I see no errors. I believe that there is an error in this highly customized application. I have been asked to try and see what transaction has been causing the problem. So what I was wondering is is there something that I can use to review and reply each and every transaction one by one. I know the hour that the error occurs ( it is not consistent at the same time. What I mean is I have the logs from the different times that it has happed in the past) At this time they do not want me to put SQL Server Profiler running against the database, so my only other hope was to go through the transaction logs.
SO is there a transaction log read available for 6.5, and if so where do I get it?

The only log viewer/reader that I have heard about is from Lumigent. But according to their website it only works on 7 and 2000. But it 'appears' to imply that you might be able to attach the 6.5 to a 7 or 2000 server and use the product. (Log Explorer is the name of the actual product).
They have a free trial version that you might want to use to test the above scenerio (attach the 6.5 to a later version database and run Log Explorer there).
Good Luck....
