This is why we needed the title in the notification msg

  • It took less than 2 hours to fill this up :

  • Yikes!

so is that enough of the title, or should we change something?

  • I'm not sure what you are enquirering about Steve. The title is cut off because I can't scale out my column.

What I do is sort by post title, then I open 1 message to open the thread. Then I drop all new messages from that thread, then repeat untill list is empty; which usually takes 2-3 tries because I usually get new messages in my inbox before I can read all the new ones :P.

  • It was a way of saying "Thanks, Steve". I do it the same way Remi does...

Any luck yet on the triple spacing problems I told you about or the default automatic sign up for email responses?

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

  • Automatic signup is coming tomorrow. We're changing the default and longer term, trying to get that to be a user level item.

Triple spacing, down the list. Not a lot of people edit stuff, so it isn't a high priority. Right now I'm fighting for developer time on a few more critical items as I will likely lose at least one developer in a week or so.

  • What tripple spacing problem?

  • This one.

Initially there was one blank line above. I edited 3 times.

p.s. Thanks for the email header. I get to clear out my mail box on monday when I get back to work

  • Thanks Gail, I don't edit my posts that many times so I didn't notice :hehe:.

  • Neither do I usually. I found this when I was posting a bug report, of all ironies.
