There are no SQL Server instance or share features that can be updated on this computer.

    I download SQL Server 2008 SP1 and during my installations got an error msg of:

    There are no SQL Server instance or share features that can be updated on this computer.

    Can someone help and advice.

    Have you checked to see if it's already installed?

    SELECT SERVERPROPERTY('ProductLevel')
