  Hi, I received the following error. The time stamp counter of CPU on scheduler id 5 is not synchronized with other CPUs.

  Server details

  HP ProLiant DL585 G2 (High Performance Server)

  Amd Processor.(8)

  120 GB ram

  Windows 2003 ,64 bit ,dual node (active passive cluster)

  SQL 2005 Sp2 .

  According to microsoft doc

  I enabled the affinity mask for 8 processors,I still get the same error . The server is new and I am in the verge of migrating databases from SQL2000 server.How to set affinity I/o mask and is it necessary to do so?
