Nice spot
Quite a few options for CONNECTIONPROPERTY:
net_transport
protocol_type
auth_scheme
local_net_address
local_tcp_port
client_net_address
physical_net_transport
Is there a dmv or something to see all the properties in case I need them for yesterday for example ?

Easy question as I have used it last month on versions 2012 and 2014 , but I had hesitated a little moment as I was thinking about a possible trap.
I am using often ( since the beginning of the appearance ) the sys.dm_exec_connections/sessions since .Net Framework 6 , the SqlConnection class provides the ClientConnectionId property (missing in the ServerConnection class of SMO ).

I am looking at the sys.dm_exec_connections & sys.dm_exec_sessions on my local machine but I do not see the sessions & connections from yesterday.
I am curious if there is history for sessions & connections.

Not in as far as I know. The DMVs show the current ones.

I think there shall be a history / audit of the sessions and connections, maybe queries, kept somewhere.

History is maintained for some part of this, but it doesn't persist over restarts of the SQL Server service. For permanent data, you need a monitoring tool like SQL Sentry or similar product.
The Books Online info on the DMVs is at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms188754.aspx.
