Why the restriction to Grid? The same is true with Text.

The first and the hardest SQL statement I have wrote- "select * from customers" - and I was happy and felt smart.

Is it? I can't recall a situation where I've actually used this facility, although I knew the correct answer...would be interested to know what people use this for?

Doesn't work for me. If I press that combination I just get "Waiting for second key of chord..."
Perhaps it's because I have SQL Complete installed.

Maybe to add a liitle confusion to the QOTD? After all, it would be a bit easy if it just said "how do you hide query results in SSMS". Something must be making it difficult as it is, because about quarter of the answers to date are wrong.

An easy one to end the week, so thanks. It's something I use every single day, so I actually had to re-read it looking for the trick.
