what version of sybase are you using, and are you running a query or a stored procedure. I take it that the linked server is fine and you can run other commands ok. Are you running with latest drivers?

We are running the latest driver for ASE 15. The failure is intermittent.

I am having the same problem on 2008 server, connecting to ASE 15. It's only for one table though, but it's a table I really need. I can query the table in ASE itself, with the same account, with no problem, and it only has about ten rows and about 20 columns.
Any ideas? Did you get it fixed?
