Hi Everybody,
I am configaring the Snapshot replication. I have Publication and distribution on the same NT server. I had created a NT user 'testUser' and assigned it to the administrator group. Now, the Sql Server Agent service is running on this 'Testuser' account. This is generating the snapshot articals with no problem.
I have another NT server, here i configured the Publication SQL server in client network utility with sql authentification. And I am able to connect to sql server no problem at all.
Now I am creating the Pull Subscription on this server. Here also I created a new NT user 'testPull' and added to the NT administrator group. TheSql Server Agent service is running on this account. When I try to synchronize the data from Pull Subscription this is giving me error "The process could not connect to Distributor 'TEST_18'. The step failed."
But when I runs the Sql Server agent on Administrator user it works fine.
What is the reason. I don't want the administrator user on both the machines.
Please give me the soultion.....
Its very very very URGENT

Obviously permissions. You can turn on verbose logging to get more info about what is going on. The account you're using for the pull has to have access to Distribution I believe. Don't use pull often, would have to double check.
