    Hi all,

    Can anyone help with the error that I keep getting as displayed above, I have tried re-installing SQL Server 2000 and installing Service Pack 4 and neither of these solutions seems to work, would any of this be due to the fact that I am also running a named Instance of SQL Server 2005?

    Hello,

    Did anyone come up with an answer to this.  I have the exact same problem on a machine that also has 2005 client tools.  I have uninstalled 2000 client and reinstalled but get the same error message.

    After reinstalling the 2000 tools, I installed 2000 SP4 which managed to get rid of this message.

    I installed sp4 also. But still getting the error.
