The odd R sequence

    I can't see anything on the reference given that indicates that the correct answer is the correct answer.  The examples given on there all suggest that none of the answers provided are right.

    How so?

    I'm starting to question my sanity now.  On this page, https://stat.ethz.ch/R-manual/R-devel/library/base/html/seq.html I absolutely cannot see that example.  If I had seen it I would have got the it right!


    On two occasions I have been asked, "Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?" ... I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.

  • The docs aren't extensive, but part of this is you testing yourself to see what you know. I guess looking this up counts as learning as well.
