  Hi,

  1. We have Installed and configured clustering on Windows 2008 x64 with SP2 on node 1 SQL A (Single node cluster)

  2. Validated the cluster configuration and all reports are fine.

  2. Installed SQL Server 2008 x64 with SP1

  3. We have installed and configured clustering on Windows 2008 x64 with SP2 on node 2 called SQL B

  4. Now from Failover cluster Manager, trying to add the node Server B to the cluster. The node Server B added successfully But with following warning:

  The node was added successfully, but the 'SQL Server' resource type could not be installed on it. Unable to find 'sqsrvres.dll' on any of the cluster nodes

  Can we ignore this error and go ahead with SQL Server 2008 installation on node 2 SQL B? or need to fix the warning?

  Absolutely, the warning saying that you need to configure SQL Server 2008 on the added node.

  So you are good to go:-)
