I agree somewhat about BI being an oxymoron. I've seen quite a bit of stuff that says they put in too much BI-type analysis and counted on it to lower risk when it was really raising risk across the economy.
Windmills in your backyard? Not sure, I think we need to do some of this, compare it to large central windmills, etc. and see what works. Same for ethanol. People jumped on the bandwagon thinking they'd get rich quick, and some did. Does it make sense to burn corn for fuel? Not sure (I doubt it), but what about the waste products? It could. Depends on how it works. We need to research this stuff.
