The Matrix from the movie...If it was programmed in SQL...How many programmers, how much storage, equipment, etc....

700 Exabytes
8096 Developers
There would also need to be backups and DR planning which would incur more storage and more database admins.

If you think about it, it requires no more storage or processing then can be achieved by the sum total of humanoid brains taking part in the said matrix environment. Perceptions, feelings, relationships and the world as experienced by each 'individual'. After all we are all trapped in the perceptive matrix created by our own minds anyway!
There is no spoon.

SQL Developer Edition, 2 humans, and about 63.5 days to realize that two humans will not act in a set based manner and want to do everything on their own before you switch back to C++

I'm not sure, but it probably won't run on Windows because Microsoft isn't going to support a 64 bit driver for the human brain. You won't be able to run SSCS (SQL Server Cerebral Services) in native mode. You'll have to use the old 32 bit TTS (Thought Transformation Services), or re-write everything.

I bet UNIX with DBase III would work 😉

A SQL query walks into a bar and sees two tables. He walks up to them and asks, "Can I join you?"
