Hi all,
I'm having issues connecting to Reporting Services Report manager.
When I access the report server site on the report server pc, the login credential dialog keeps appearing even though I entered the correct username and password.
The URL I used is "www.domainname.com", this domain is mapped to the IPAddress of the Report Server PC via modifying host file.
However,
- if I used "IP Address" or "Server name" to access the report server site on the report server, it works well. It has problem when use domain url.
- there is no problem when I access the report server on the another client PC (but not the Report server pc) no-matter which way i used. it works well for the both 3 ways. (IP Address/ Servername/ Domain name).
Anybody knows the reason? Thanks!

I'm having the exact same issue if I enter the IP Address instead of server name it works. Looking forward to see if somebody posts a solution.

The issue is caused by Loopback check. You can go through the following article to solve it:
