Hi,
We are facing an issue in One of our replication(Distributor) Server, Error says :
The distribution agent failed to create temporary files in 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\COM' directory. System returned errorcode 5. (Source: MSSQL_REPL, Error number: MSSQL_REPL21100)

Related to this problem I have found an Article KB956032 which says give necessary permissions for COM folder,
I have done that but still error exists.
Then found an article in Microsoft connect saying that update to Latest SP as this is fixed.
Then I noticed my distributor is not updated to SP1 hence applied, with Cumulative Package 4, but no luck I still face this problem.
Our Environment:
All our Publisher, distributor and Subscriber are
SQL Server 2008 x64 bit, Windows Server 2003 x64bit.
Note : I have upgraded my distributor Server from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 while my rest of distributor and publisher are newly Installed SQL 2008 Servers.
Is this a bug or a configuration issue, need some suggestions.

Did you try exclusing 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\COM' from anti virus scan.
