Me: Phew!!!
DTUs are something that I would like to understand but it is hard to know how I can use them to estimate requirements or cost.

One day a year, the joke is on them. The rest of the year, it is on us. When I saw Schrรถdinger's equation, I thought that Microsoft was finally basing their licensing model on something that is understandable, but still not completely predictable. (The Heisenberg uncertainty principle would replace the standard Microsoft licensing uncertainty model. You still don't know the cost of what you are buying until you actually buy it, and once you buy it, you don't completely know what you bought.) ๐

Fortunately I do not need to worry about that. I have people who do the maths. I am a bit, no a lot, dumb where it comes to maths.

PS Microsoft announced some good news the day before April 1st: Xamarin will be free for users of Visual Studio. It was not a joke. Now back to figuring out MSDN licensing in our select agreement....
