    Second, I hope that virtual events never go away. I work for an organization which doesn't send anyone, anywhere, ever, for training, attending conferences, etc. However, most people don't want to learn anything new, so it works both ways. So, attending conferences virtually is vital to me.

    Third, local conferences are great.
