Funny that you bring this up Steve. One of our hosted customers, for the first time in 4 years, last night had to execute their failover plan to their DR site. With our help, they built the environment from the ground up with DR in mind and tested it every year, but last night was the first real "disaster". The whole procedure went without a hitch and today they're live on their DR servers. Planning indeed goes a long way.

That reference was early in this site's career. I didn't work for SQLServerCentral, but for another company. Extending my lunch hour to go work for SQLServerCentral wasn't something my boss had to do since it wasn't his company.
