The best rapid application development tool for SQL server

    Hi,

    I'm developping a new database solution. What would be a nice tool to do RAD on MSSQL Database?

    Could you clarify what you're looking to accomplish with the tool? I thought RAD was more a software design methodology than a set of tools. If you're looking to be able to generate a schema script from an ER diagram, there are a number of tools to do that sort of thing depending on the price range you're looking at.

    The best tool is one that can do the job and you are comfortable and like working with.

    Without more info, can't help more than that.

    For now I'm using Filemaker to develop at my job. I've been doing so for the last two years. This DBMS is quite useful to develop rapid solutions.

    The last time I used SQL server was too long ago so I can't be "fluent" in developing a full desktop/server application. That's why I was wondering if there was an application that can develop the presentation layer as fast as Filemaker.
