Through Brian's book for experienced DBA's I came to know of this site. It has been my everday dwelling place to get lot of knowledge. Thanks to Brain and all who are helping me and others.
I have been told in my workplace, to start supporting oracle admin as well slowly. I would like to know any good sites like this for oracle admin. I only want the good ones; not with lots of non-tech talks.
Thanks much

Afraid I don't pay much attention to that space. If you find one please post, Im sure there are others that share your interest.

bj007;
Hey, I'm an Oracle DBA myself and for Oracle documentation, scripts, tech forums and support I use Oracle's Metalink support website. If you have an Oracle Support agreement then you have access to the site.
The amount of searchable documents, scripts, forums, and technical support is not matched by any other company. It's not free, but it's indispensable.
The URL is:
Hope this helps;

Hi bj007,
not sure if you can compare the following links to this site, but try
http://www.databasejournal.com/
At least their newsletter seems to be Oracle oriented

http://www.lazydba.com maintains a somewhat active mailing list for Oracle.
Tried it yesterday and received some 100 mail in one day. Think I'll sign off very soon
