I think I should expand on a previous thread where I sensationally revealed that STEVE JONES (erstwhile guru and all-round-SQL-meister) is in fact THE Steve Jones, guitar hero. Steve, whose Gibson-thrashing antics of the seventies led the Sex Pistols to international fame, has been quiet himself on the subject, but now, in his 50th year, I feel it right to celebrate the man & the legend...

Please note that this photo is VERY 80's... he may not have the mullet anymore....
Steve's finest hour has surely got to be the glorious track "Silly Thing", a track which made the B Side of a SP single and features Johnny Rotten NOT singing. It has been speculated that this may be the point at which the group started to go their separate ways - Johnny Rotten, I believe, now runs a very poorly subscribed Oracle website and Malcolm McLaren is writing Excel 97 VBA macros somewhere in Luton. Sid Vicious, alas, is famously no more, but I believe that the drummer, Paul Cook, is a Senior VP at Redmond..
So, there's my contribution... c'mon guys, add your memories of the man and lets see if we can't get him to give us a blast of "Holidays In The Sun" for the holiday season!
