I recently joined a data warehouse developers team. They recently got a Team Foundation Server 2008 version control (they have never had any version manager tool before) and I was tasked to script out everything into it, and what is more important, is to create a sort of best practices guidelines for whole team how to manage our code. TFS is new to me too, I just played with it for a few days.
What I need to find is a methodology how to branch, label files, rollback to prior versions, prepare sets for production deployment, and so on. Can somebody point to a good document on the web or give some idea how to proceed with this?
Thanks

I found the VSTS Ranger Guidance to be useful. http://branchingguidance.codeplex.com/
Also the Team Development with TFS guide has a lot of good info. http://tfsguide.codeplex.com/
