TERMINATE SHRINKING DATAFILE process

    I have a 'shrink datafile' process running for a long of time. I want to terminate it, but not sure if it would cause any issue on databse, can someone helps on this?

    You should be able to terminate without a problem.  I have done it many times without any problems.

    Another qusiton, when terminate this shrink datafile process, is there any 'rollback' time ?

    There shouldn't be.  What ever reorganization that had happened up to the point of cancel is kept.
