Hi,
We need to retrieve the records from teradata by using SSIS.
We installed the teradata provider from the Teradata download site.
After that: we tried to create the ADO.NET connection manager and select the teradata provider. but we are not able to see the Teradata provider listed in it.
Could you please let us know what could be the issue and the resolution for this issue.
Thanks in Advance!.
Regards,
Mareeswaran.

I apologize; I miss read your post.
You are using SQL server 2005 not 2008.
MS did have “Microsoft Connector v 1.1 for Teradata by Attunity”
however the down load from MS is no longer available.
I would suggest using "Microsoft Connector for Teradata by Attunity" provided your SQL Server 2008 is Enterprise version.
Download these files
AttunitySSISTeraAdaptersSetupX64.msi
AttunitySSISTeraAdaptersSetup.msi
from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29284
You can download installation and configuration information from
here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee692365(v=sql.100).aspx
