Tempdb new datafile creation date

    Hi,

    Someone added a new datafile (ndf) to tempdb. I want to know the date of this new datafile. This created a space issue in one of our Server drive.

    Appreciate your inputs. Thanks!

    you can check that from windows explorer file creation date property. However, if sql server services has been recycled after file creation, you wont get accurate date as tempdb is recreated.
