  Hi All

  TCP Provider: The specified network name is no longer available. [SQLSTATE 08S01] (Error 64) Communication link failure [SQLSTATE 08S01] (Error 64). The step failed.

  Frequently while taking backup through jobs , I’m getting this kind of error , but there is no problem in the network

  Plz help me on this

  Are you backing up to a local drive or a network location? Sometimes this happens when backing up across a network you can get these issues.
