Definitely better this year. Last year at this time, I was "temporarily self-employed" (at least, that's how the IRS sees it, because then they can bill me for more).

Adding to my earlier post, I got my review for the last year. Got a pay raise and a bonus. In addition, I have some Oracle training coming up this year (I am still a MCT so SQL Training is free). Will be picking up responsibility for some of the Oracle servers (devs so if I mess anything up no big deal, hehe). 2011 will be a good year. Much nicer not being on the road all the time. On the other hand, taxes are much higher, less deductions when you dont have to travel all the time.
