Crazy thing is he's only 25. His first World Series he was 21. And already in historical company http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2014/10/22/madison-bumgarner-postseason-dominance/17704947/[/url]

I must say, this has been a great series. I'm very excited that it is coming down to a game 7 and I'm rooting hard for the Royals. Tonight's will be amazing (I hope).

Rooting for the Royals, and enjoyed hearing the 2nd (and 8th) innings on the radio.

I haven't watched that much this year for some reason. Rooting for the underdog Royals.
A ton of runs scored in this World Series... wouldn't have guessed it going into Game 1. Three of the six games ahve been very lopsided...

I never would have imagined myself saying this back in high school, but -- Go Royals! 🙂

That was fun. I think he accomplished his goal of connecting directly with fans. Being able to see him do something so mundane and uninteresting as cleaning out a locker, very cool. Read some of the other athlete pages and those are just as cool.
Good find.

I don't know how I feel. I'm unhappy that the Giants won but I'm proud of those Royals for making it so far and playing so well. It's every kid's dream to imagine themselves in game 7 of the world series bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, man on third. The story was there with Salvador Perez at bat having just been hit earlier in the game. I wish it ended a different way for the Royals.
There's always next year
Congratulations to the Giants though 3rd time in 5 years, deserving of some props.

Yea, smallest market team in all of MLB that virtually no one picked to be in the playoffs were 90 feet away from tying up game 7 of the world series!

I remember telling myself last night that if Madison Bumgarner is not the Series MVP, there's something wrong. He was absolutely lights-out in the Series.
Congrats, Giants!

Congrats Giants, and though I wanted the Royals to win, that was some performance from Bumgarner.
Quite the last second excitement, and though I hear people saying send the guy, how could you? He wouldn't have been close. SS had the ball as he turned at third.
