I'm sticking to it, Harper will end up in pinstripes shortly (Yankee pinstripes).I hope so! 😉
ha! If he had a fancy B on his cap, I'd find a way to like him. No denying his ability to play, he just needed an attitude adjustment (not regarding this incident). I have to give him credit, I don't think he's as big of a ... snotty pants as he once was.

So you're saying you'd like him if he played for Brooklyn? 😀

So, it wasn't a very interesting game but the surprise Astros prevailed.Sorry Ray 🙁
(not really :hehe:)
LOL!
FWIW, the Yanks exceeded everyone's expectations (including my own) just by making it to the wild-card game, and Dallas Keuchel has been lights-out against us all season. Overall, it was a decent season. We'll be back next year!

Bad days for the home teams so far.
I'm going to ALDS Game 3 on Sunday. If the Rangers win today, that'll be a potential clinch game.

Enjoy. The last time this happened in CO, I went to G3 of the WS to watch the Rockies make a game of it, but lose

So, for the first time in a very long time the betting sites have the Cubs as the favorite to win the World Series. We have to beat the Dodgers or the Mets then get past (presumably) the Blue Jays but I think it's going to happen. The toughest team may already be behind us.
As a life long Cubs fan this makes me happy. No team in baseball has a track record of letting their fans down like my beloved Cubbies but this year truly feels different. Go Cubs!

Even though my Red Sox didn't make it in, I must admit one thing. I love seeing these fresh teams deep in the post season. With some exceptions, it is great to see small(ish) market teams making it this far through sheer determination. The Astros were eliminated but they made it to the ALDS with the 29th team salary in the league ($69 million)! It is a treat to see these young players do well and witness the great games the post season has to offer.
With that being said, I must stick with a team near and dear to my heart. Go Royals!
P.S. For the sake of curse breaking, I wouldn't mind seeing the Cubs win either.

Being 7 hours ahead of home in the UK has me missing things, but what a wild 7th the other day with the Jays/Rangers. Certainly the poor throw from the catcher was live, and the correct call.
However booting those three plays, that's the type of stuff I see in the 50+ year old league. Amazing to see that from a MLB team.

Congrats, Kansas City Royals!
As cool as it is that Kansas City won the series this stupid parade tomorrow is making things challenging. They announced earlier today that school is cancelled tomorrow due to a lack of teachers. That leaves me in a situation where my kids have no place to go during the day. I am being forced to take a PTO day so the teachers can go to the parade. ARGH!!!

Congrats to the Kansas City Royals!! A well deserved Championship.
Sean, Take the kids to the parade. It's been 30 years since the last one. Enjoy the moment.

Congrats to the Royals. Happened to stumble on extra innings a few times, once last week with some KC SQL people in Seattle.
Very cool to see them win this one.
