takes too long to view database property in EM

    Hi,

    I'm using sql 2k enterprise (sp3) on win2003 enterprise and win2k, and they are all patched up. I noticed lately that opeinig up the propertyies of any databases in enterprise manager takes over a minute. I checked a task manager and saw (not responding). It was not like this before. Is there anyone experiencing the same problem, and if you resolved an issue, could you share that with me? Thank you.

    Is it every time? I've had this happen on occassion with some servers or workstations. Have you traced to see where the slwodown might be?

    Yes, it seems to happen every time I click on the properties menu. I haven't traced. Do you trace it with performance monitor? Could you give some details on tracing? Thanks.
