Hey,
I need to put two tables side by side. I designed everything in the report desginer, and deplyed the report - but the tables did not appear as they were layed out - instead, the right table "drifted" right and made the whole page wider, resulting in an ugly layout and causing other compnents (such as charts) to drift as well. When i print the report as a PDF the layout is perfect. Why does this happen? how can I fix it? I've desgined reports in the past with side by side tables and they were perfectly fine...

Hi,
In my experience:
1. Table can't overlap each other.
2. The width of two table can't over the width of the report page size.

Thanks for the replies.
I'm absolutly certain it is a bug. A very anoying one.
It's true, ovelapping of components is a problem but in this case there was no overlapping.
I don't know how or why my problem was solved but I can tell you what I did - I just deleted the tables, and pasted tables from a similar report. I think a new table from scratch would also be OK. In addition, I closed the report and reloaded it (which solved some other bugs as well - Microsoft really outdone themselves this time!!!). Now it works fine - go figure...

Eyal,
what do you mean by reload the report;
deploy from VISUAL STUDIO .NET or load the rdl file into the reportserver environment ?
